DESCRIPTION:Join Rideau Park United Church for a conversation about Palestine\, between Spiritual Advisor and Elder Albert Dumont and a beautiful Palestinian youth – a grade 9 student who was born in Gaza and who moved to Canada in 2021.\nAfter the formal conversation\, we will open up the meeting for a Sharing Circle.\n\nWith this Harmony Circle\, we want to create a safe space for people\, especially youth\, to:\n\n* learn more about the current genocide happening in Palestine* express their pain at the injustice of the situation* feel that they have a voice and are not being silenced* dive deep into the practice of unlearning and learning* create harmony within our communities \n\n\nWe will end the Harmony Circle with concrete social justice actions we can take to help Palestine. This is an invitation to DO something in a time of great suffering\, devastation and emotional turmoil. \nTo register for this free\, online event\, please fill out this Google form: \n\nhttps://forms.gle/KhCikXNJXWKfrxdR7\nThe event will take place over Zoom.
