Join Rideau Park United Church for a conversation about Palestine, between Spiritual Advisor and Elder Albert Dumont and a beautiful Palestinian youth – a grade 9 student who was born in Gaza and who moved to Canada in 2021.
After the formal conversation, we will open up the meeting for a Sharing Circle.
With this Harmony Circle, we want to create a safe space for people, especially youth, to:
* learn more about the current genocide happening in Palestine
* express their pain at the injustice of the situation
* feel that they have a voice and are not being silenced
* dive deep into the practice of unlearning and learning
* create harmony within our communities
We will end the Harmony Circle with concrete social justice actions we can take to help Palestine. This is an invitation to DO something in a time of great suffering, devastation and emotional turmoil.
