“Here From the Beginning” – A Black History Exhibition

Emmanuel is hosting an exhibition called “Here From the Beginning.” This is an exhibition prepared by the United Church of Canada for the 100th anniversary that is travelling across Canada. It will be on display at Emmanuel on Sunday, December 7th following the service and until 2:00 pm. It is a powerful virtual and print exhibition that honours the vibrant legacy of Black voices in The United Church of Canada.

Hosted by Pilgrim United Church in Edmonton, this exhibition is part of The United Church of Canada’s 100th Anniversary and highlights the leadership, resilience, and deep contributions of Black communities to the life and mission of the church.
