Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. with a social time followed by a discussion of the book at 7:30 p.m. They enjoy current fiction with a balance between Canadian and international authors. They attempt to look for images of God in the books chosen and to learn more about our world through literature.

This year we are starting and ending with In Person meetings where the discussion will take place in the lounge. From November to March, the discussion will be held on ZOOM. Here is the schedule for 2024-2025:

Gardening and Food Sovereignty

We have flower beds and vegetable gardens that need tending. If you have a green thumb or you would like to learn how to garden, your involvement would be most appreciated. The harvest we grow in our gardens is shared with our local food banks and is used to produce healthy meals for our seniors.

Men's Club

The Men’s Club is a social club that provides fellowship to the men of the church. It meets once each month for breakfast at Perkins Restaurant, at the corner of St. Laurent and Coventry, when a wide variety of topics are discussed. The Men’s club also participate in several fundraising activities for the church such as the baking of turkey pot pies and baked beans for the Holiday Bazaar and organizing the Shrove Tuesday Pancake supper. Come join us and share in the good fellowship and fun!  For more information, please contact Jon Jones at jonathan.jones5500@gmail.com.
