Based on the novel by Joanne Harris, Chocolat tells the story of Vianne Rocher (Juliette Binoche) who arrives in a little French village with her daughter Anouk at the beginning of Lent. Vianne opens a small chocolaterie. Soon she and her chocolate begin to influence the lives of the mayor and the townspeople of this repressed little community in magical and interesting ways. Starring: Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, and Alfred Molina.
